Broad Street Bullies Win Back to Back Stanley Cups

In honor of the Philadelphia Flyers back to back Stanley Cup victories in 1974 and 1975, here is a look back at the Broad Street Bullies with a documentary from HBO. The Flyers had become the first NHL Expansion team to ever win the Stanley Cup in 1974 and they followed that up with their second and last, to this date, Stanley Cup in franchise history. The key to both Stanley Cups was goalie Bernie Parent, who the Flyers actually traded during the 1970-71 to the Toronto Maple Leafs and then traded for him back from Maple Leafs before the 1974 season, he won the Conn Smythe Trophy both years with a combined 24-10 record and 6 shutouts (including game 6 clincher of the 1974 Stanley Cup).
