Today in Philly Sports – May 12, 1974 – Flyers Win Game 3 of Stanley Cup Finals 4-1

43 years ago the Philadelphia Flyers took a 2 games to 1 lead over the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Flyers gave up the first goal a minute into the game and then went on to score 4 straight. Goals were scored by Tom Bladon, Terry Crisp, Orest Kindrachuk, and Ross Lonsberry. The Flyers went on to win their 1st Stanley Cup Finals in franchise history.
