On May 9th, 1974 Bobby Clarke scored an overtime goal to beat the Boston Bruins and even the Stanley Cup finals at one game a piece going back home to the Spectrum. The Flyers were down 2-0 at the end of the first period but early in the second period Bobby Clarke cut the lead to one. The score remained 2-1 until there was 58 seconds left in the 3rd period, when Flyers Defenseman Andre Dupont scored, assisted by none else then Bobby Clarke, to send the game to overtime.
